Less than 2 years after spending $21 million dollars and replacing more than 40,000 streetlights in Las Vegas, Major Caroline Goodman and other on the council  regretting that purchase.  Dissatisfied with the new LED streetlights, it was suppose to save energy and cut cost about $2 million annually.

Major Caroline Goodman shade light on this due to a recent event that she only experience one evening at 5:30 P.M.  The lighting is so poor that Major Goodman nearly hit somebody,
“I was almost right on top of that sidewalk and didn’t even see them.”  She pointed the finger of blame at the new streetlights, which she said didn’t provide as much visibility as the old ones. Mayor Caroline Goodman is not alone; Councilwoman Lois Tarkanian thinks the new streetlight is not adequate enough, despite the measurement standards on the new lights.      www.rosemarielv.net
